I first gained my passion for Henna in the midst of Covid, in about 2021. Since then, I have been dedicated to using my passion for this cultural art to enrich others and support charitable causes. See some of my henna art and other projects below!

Helping Henna Hands (Project H^3) In March of 2024, I realized that my passion could be used to do good. I started up my own small business, sharing my passion with the world while simultaneuously donating 50-75% of proceeds from doing henna to charitable causes. In the past, I have donated to the Aga Khan Foundation, and I hope to donate to more local charities supporting Chicago residents in the future.

In September of 2024, my henna project was recognized by my community, and they asked me to develop a curriculum to teach henna and also run the first pilot program in Glenview. That class was a lot of fun, but also very hectic and entertaining. I made homemade lotion practice cones for my students and let them draw all over my arms. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’m excited to say that my curriculum is now being implemented nationally.
